Parent Meeting and Guest Speakers

Hello Doncaster Families,

You are the parent community at Doncaster School and we hope you can attend the meeting on Thursday, February 2nd in the library at 7pm. It is an opportunity for you to hear about what is happening around the school and to ask any questions that you may have.

As usual, we will hear from Principal O’Connor and/or Vice-Principal Paris and we also have two guest speakers attending.  Jessica Shafer will be joining us from CISV Victoria and Lindsay Taylor will be back to update us on the CRD’s Active and Safe Routes to School initiative.

See you there!

Calling All Parents/Guardians! AGM this Thursday

This is a plea to all parents/guardians of Doncaster children: Please join us this Thursday in the school library at 7pm for the Doncaster PAC Annual General Meeting. We’ll cover the items in the agenda below, but most importantly, we will be having our DPAC Elections for all the top Executive positions (President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary, as well as Members-At-Large).  Role descriptions of these roles can be found on the DPAC website under the Executive tab as well as in our November newsletter.

DPAC is at a critical state where we need parent/guardian volunteers to take on these executive positions in order to sustain, organize, and operate all the exciting initiatives and events that DPAC supports the School and community with. With parent/guardian volunteers all things are possible and we look forward to your enthusiasm and commitment to keep DPAC going.

So don’t be shy! Bring yourself and a friend or two or more to the meeting this Thursday evening.
