We extend a heartfelt thank you to the Doncaster PAC for generously funding our “Hatch the Chick” program!

This special initiative began during the 2022/2023 school year with Mrs. Pratt, who introduced students to the incredible experience of hatching baby chicks. In 2023/2024, Mme Mills and Mme Mottishaw took on the program, continuing this hands-on learning opportunity in their classrooms.

Thanks to PAC support, both classes were able to participate, allowing for even more students to experience the wonder of life firsthand. With two incubators running, we welcomed more visiting classes than ever before, creating a school-wide buzz of excitement.

In 2024/2025, we successfully hatched a total of five fluffy chicks, bringing so much joy to our students! The experience helped children better understand the life cycle of animals, the responsibility of caring for living things, and the importance of treating animals with kindness and respect.
